In honor of National Trails Day, Mill City Park will be hosting our first work day of the season. Come have fun while helping us clean up the park and expand the trail system! Make new friends and catch up with old acquaintances as we clean up litter and remove invasive species, blowdowns, and other obstructions.

If helping out wasn't enticing enough, how about free food! For all volunteers we will be having a free barbecue, as a thank you and kickoff to the summer! We will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chips and watermelon.

Meet at the parking area for Mill City Park on Willow Street behind the carwash and check in at our event tent. Wear long sleeves, pants, and good shoes. Some tools will be available to borrow, but bring gloves, loppers, rakes, hand saws if you have them. Some tools will be available. Consider bringing bug spray, sunscreen, refillable water bottle, your smile and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
