September Meet & Greet with Franklin's City Council

A meet and greet with the current City Council was held on September 22, 2025 at the Elks' at 6:00 pm. Our board was present with all but three members and the City Council was present with all but Councilor Boyce and Councilor Hallet-Cook.
It is tough to build bridges. The meeting as expected had some hard questions, addressing of rumors, and misinformation. However, it was a good step forward in building bridges in our community.
Mill City Park produced a handout with a lot of historical and information. Board members gave first hand accounts on why this work is important to us, as an organization and individuals. Staff produced a story of divisiveness that we ended the meeting with.
